You're not training to do one arm push-ups. I'm not even sure where you'd sign up for a one-arm push-up competition. You're training for something more; something better.

I've lifted for years and that's all it was; lifting. Now we're TRAINING for something and it's much more exciting.

NameChanged, interesting. I don't really use the scale as a measure of progress; just an indicator of change. You've given me the idea to do a post on measuring progress, though! And yeah, it IS hard to look and not judge. One thing that's helped me is getting rid of the "magic number" that I secretly wanted to see.

What a wonderful way to describe the open water in a calm lake. Just once though I think you should try a bigger lake in the early morning, the water is glass-like you hear the birds waking and the campers begin to stir. The feeling of early morning swimming at a Lake is wonderful!

It is a simple courtesy and certainly NOT asking too much since BOTH of you make use of the toilet in the down position and he is the only one who uses it up. Sounds like you were guilted into giving up too easily (whatever happened to women’s lib!?) Take a stand not just because you are a girl but because it is common sense.

So just the mathematical fact that the seat is used more frequently down than up should be more than enough evidence to encourage him to lower the seat after raising it.
