Anything can happen at twilight

{ Wednesday, January 30, 2008 }

Sometimes, toward the end of a dark day, the sun will peel down like a long blue piece of weatherstripping. Things that are still and quiet stand oddly bright and dignified.

The things that are noisy dissolve and the things that are still and quiet rule in that fading gray rafter of sunlight.

And you want some way to express this and fold it up in your pocket at the same time, how much you were not required to notice.

And this is Lee Hazlewood.
